In addition to the EQT Elevation “Dunk Contest” that Kobe Bryant wore during the 1997 NBA All-Star Dunk Contest, another Adidas Kobe shoe is returning to stores soon.
This pair is the Adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine” pictured here, which was Black Mamba’s first signature shoe with the brand and was formerly known as the Kobe 1. The next version is essentially an exact copy of the original 2001 release Bryant’s signature shoe was inspired by the Audi TT Roadster sports car, which takes shape with the chunky upper design. This pair dons a predominantly Yellow color scheme paired with a Black ankle bootie and Gray EVA foam midsole.
News of the return of Adidas Kobe sneakers was first reported by Complex sneakers in July 2021, which revealed that this Adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine” will be released in April to coincide with the McDonald’s All-American Game. Despite reports, official release details for the shoe have yet to be announced by Adidas, but check back to Sole Collector soon for updates.
