The next collaboration between Off-White and Nike could be released soon.
Yesterday, images of Nike products emerged on social media of late fashion designer Virgil Abloh’s take on the Air Force 1 Mid, which are pictured in white and black-based makeups.
The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mids feature a mesh construction on the upper and are paired with a dual lace system in the midfoot. Abloh updated the shoe’s “Nike Air” branding on the tongue, replacing it with a new “Air” logo. Additional details include co-branding on the midfoot as well as signature Off-White logos on the insole and an orange hangtag attached to the laces. The design is completed with a deformed midsole that features a deformed design towards the heel air bubble while the outsole is equipped with trail-like panels at the forefoot and midfoot.
Abloh tragically passed away in November 2021 after a quiet battle with an aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma. Releases of his next Nike projects were put on hold immediately after his death before recently resuming with the launch of two Off-White x Nike Blazer Low styles in April.
While images of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mids have surfaced, release details for the collaboration have yet to be announced by the brand.
In Nike news, the brand has just unveiled the Air Zoom AlphaFly Next%2, a new running sneaker designed for marathons and long-distance races.
