REPORTS

BURGLAR (late), 2022-07110147, 2700 block Langston Blvd. At around 1:59 p.m. on July 11, police were dispatched to a late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between approximately 2:28 p.m. and 2:51 p.m. on July 3, an unknown suspect broke into the building, stole a package, and entered the parking garage. The suspect then tried the doors of several cars, entering a single vehicle. Nothing in the vehicle was reported stolen. Suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8, 17-30, 140-180 pounds with an afro wearing a dark baseball cap, white t-shirt, gray Nike sweatpants, basketball sneakers black Nike balls. The investigation is ongoing.

THEFT OF AUTO (Series), 2022-07120029, 1600 Block N. Abingdon St. / 4700 Block 17th St. N. At approximately 3:12 a.m. July 12, police were dispatched to report a vehicle tampering. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located the male suspect in the area of ​​N. 17th St. and N. Buchanan St. and took him into custody without incident. The investigation determined that four vehicles were entered, searched and valuables were stolen from one of the vehicles. During a search of the suspect incident to the arrest, suspected narcotics were found on his person and suspected stolen property was recovered. Miguel Tomlinson, 46, of Washington DC was arrested and charged with theft and possession of Schedule I/II controlled substances. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2022-07110110, 5200 block of Langston Blvd. Around 11:10 a.m. on July 11, police were dispatched to the finding of an indecent assault. Officers met the reporting party who said she was entering a building when she observed a male suspect on a bench with his genitals exposed and masturbating. The victim continued into the building and called the police during which time the suspect fled in an unknown direction. Surveillance was broadcast and additional units probed the area for the suspect, yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30-40 years old, 6’0, with short black hair wearing a red t-shirt, black athletic shorts and black tennis shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2022-07120017, block 2200 Clarendon Blvd. At approximately 1:32 a.m. on July 12, police were dispatched to report a trespass. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, who had previously been barred from the business, and took him into custody without incident. The investigation determined that the suspect entered the lobby of the building, sat down in the common area and allegedly began to masturbate. Frank Bouknight, 34, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, trespassing and indecent exposure.
