Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan reveals a fun little story about him and Kobe Bryant, and why only Kobe wears

Today, we know DeMar DeRozan as somewhat of a fan of Nike’s Kobe sneaker line.

Over the course of his career, fans have seen the man put on Kobe after Kobe in every game, with the man rarely choosing to experiment with a sneaker that wasn’t one. And apparently one of those periods of experimentation may have come at a deadly, if not a bit hilarious, cost. And of course, this little moment clashed with Kobe Bryant himself, during an early part of his career.

DeMar DeRozan once angered Kobe Bryant by wearing Jordans, not Kobe in a game against the Lakers legend

It’s perhaps the most well-known fact in the NBA right now, that Kobe Bryant was the type to take absolutely no prisoners.

The man took almost everything to heart, to the point that even the slightest movement, even remotely against him, could set him off. And unlike us, it looks like DeMar DeRozan had the pleasure of finding out the hard way.

We won’t lie, we’re not even sure what DeMar DeRozan was thinking when he decided to wear a pair of Jordans instead of his usual Kobe.

Wearing someone’s idol shoes instead of the ones you usually wear is one thing. But not only did he change said person’s shoes to do it, and he did it in a match against him.

Yeah, DeMar DeRozan was clearly asking on this one.
