Nike kit ‘disappointed’ as Liverpool face £ 75million challenge at Manchester United
ECHO’s Paul Gorst examined the relationship between Liverpool and kit supplier Nike as football continues to grapple with the coronavirus.
The current ‘pale ivory’ jersey has been the most popular away kit since the partnership began, but Liverpool may not be pushed around the world as heavily as some of Nike’s other big customers.

Others spoke of distribution problems on national soil, with training equipment, in particular, said to be difficult to obtain for downtown stores.
In the United States, however, Liverpool continue to grow, it is said.
The difficult nature of business and brand growth in the midst of a global pandemic means Liverpool will have to wait a little longer than expected to discover the true power of partnering with Nike.

Liverpool have shared behind-the-scenes footage of when the team lined up for their squad photo for the 2021/22 season.
The team spirit was there, with Kostas Tsimikas’ nickname “Greek Scouser”, good-humored jokes between center-backs Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip and support for young Harvey Elliott.
The 18-year-old was the last to take the photo and appeared on crutches as he continued to recover from an ankle injury.
After all the photos were taken, the camera moved to the heartwarming scene of Thiago driving Elliott back to the locker room in a buggy.
