NBA 2K22 update 1.003 is now available and it is quite heavy as the day one update. Let’s see the details.
Today, NBA 2K22 was officially launched on all platforms around the world. While the developers had not notified players of a Day 1 update, the game received a new update across all platforms a few hours earlier.

Prior to initiating this update, NBA 2K22 servers went offline for less than an hour, which could be unscheduled maintenance for the servers and the new update.

The new update was first spotted on PS5, but now it looks like it’s available on all platforms. The update file size is 35GB on PS5, which is over a quarter of the file size for the entire game.
As this is a day one update, Visual concepts might not share the full patch notes for this. However, the update is probably applied to improve stability and eliminate performance issues and some bugs. We’ll add the patch notes here if the developer shares anything regarding the update.
What’s included in NBA 2K22 Season 1?
Today also marks the launch of Season 1 of NBA 2K22 MyTeam. This season includes Draft and Triple Threat Online The 100 as new modes in MyTeam as well as a King of the New York Carmelo Anthony card and a 93-OVR Kobe Bryant card.
As for MyCareer, the first season brings new roller skate shoes, new skateboards, two special events, and new music.
Additionally, W mode will receive badges and VCs as a Season 1 reward.
NBA 2K22 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC.
