Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature Training Shoes

As one of the leaders in wearable innovation, Nike’s focus on sustainability is one of the many notable elements of the world-renowned brand. With the unveiling of its new Pegasus Turbo Next Nature, it’s clear that Nike is looking to keep things as green as ever while making premium performance gear.

When designing this new shoe, Nike gathered input from runners to see what the perfect training shoe would be. After learning of respondents’ desire for more foam cushioning, the brand designed a plush midsole that also manages to be eco-friendly thanks to its composition of over 55% recycled ZoomX foam scraps. The durable sole proves there is no reduction in performance while using materials that are completely earth-friendly, and serves as a signal towards Nike’s future products in space.

As for the shoes’ total composition, they’re made from over 50% recycled materials overall, providing sustainably sourced safety with 100% recycled, solution-dyed Flyknit yarns in the upper. In fact, the latter’s dyeing process saves up to 70 liters of water for every kilogram produced, giving a solid insight into the positive impact these types of projects can have on the future.

When it comes to pushing the boundaries of performance and durability, there are few better brands to trust than Nike, and these sneakers have us looking forward to seeing just how green the Swoosh can go with the future releases. While there is no official release date or pricing information available for the Pegasus Turbo Next Nature yet, you can expect the shoe to hit the scene sometime in the second quarter of This year.
