Grace E. Teeter, 18, of Columbia, was arrested at around 12:10 a.m. for drunk driving, illegal drinking, illegal transport of alcohol, lack of valid registration and improper use of the lanes in the block. 300 homes of North Main Street.
Joseph M. Buechler, 35, of Columbia, was arrested around 1:45 a.m. for drunk driving, disobeying a stop sign, illegally transporting cannabis, illegally transporting alcohol and Inappropriate turn signals in the 900 block of North Main Street.
Jose F. Patris, 37, of Hillsboro, Missouri, was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. for impaired driving, improper exit and unlicensed driving on Route 3 at Quarry Drive.
Bobby R. Burris, 70, of Columbia, was charged with felony trespassing on property following an incident around 2:30 p.m. at Schnucks, 1000 Columbia Center. Police said store management asked Burris to leave after causing a disruption by offering face masks to customers who were not wearing them inside the store. Burris refused to leave the store despite pressure from the police, resulting in the trespassing charge.
Illinois State Police
An Illinois State Police emergency radio network broadcast at around 5:35 p.m. alerted police to a possible DUI driver of I-255 eastbound Missouri on Route 3 South near exit from Palmer Road. The vehicle, a white pickup truck with Missouri plates, was found stuck in the median, but the driver fled on foot.
Emergency personnel responded shortly after 6:30 p.m. to a multiple vehicle crash on the I-255 eastbound ramp on Highway 3 southbound in Columbia. One of the people involved was slightly injured. Response agencies included Columbia Police, firefighters and EMS.
James K. Rundquist, 26, of Granite City, was arrested for drunk driving.
Monroe County Sheriff
The theft of several items from a property on Country Lakes Lane, near Konarcik Road in Waterloo, is under investigation. Items missing from the property include a Sony camera, Makita reciprocating saw, battery setup and socket set, as well as a CMC Motorsports folder.
Brittany K. Ewing, 28, of Waterloo, has been charged with illegal theft / checking for possession of a red Volkswagen Dune Buggy (valued between $ 500 and $ 10,000) knowing that it had been stolen or could reasonably assume as much.
Karol L. Posey, 68, of Cahokia, has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine).
Zachary O’Keefe, 29, of Waterloo, has been charged with two counts of burglary and also possession of methamphetamine. Court reports allege that he committed burglaries on December 15 in the 9400 block of Nike Road and on September 28 in the 3100 block of Route 156.
Jack R. Jones, 23, of Waterloo, was arrested shortly after 11:40 p.m. for drunk driving and speeding on North Main Street in First Street.
Christopher M. Meyer, 26, of Marissa, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. for illegal possession of cannabis and illegal display of license plates on Route 3 in Rose Lane.
James Childers, 35, of Waterloo, has been charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing merchandise over $ 300 from Waterloo Walmart between November 12 and December 1.
